Adrienne Bailon : American Eagle Girl

Adrienne Bailon is an American Eagle Girl

Adrienne Bailon can’t wipe the smile off her face as she leaves with two full bags from American Eagle Outfitters in New York City’s Union Square on Monday morning (June 1).

The 24-year-old singer took a much-needed break from recording her debut solo album for Island Def Jam. Adrienne has been working with chart topping producers including Rodney Jerkins, Brian Michael Cox, and The Dream.

Adrienne’s album is set to drop this fall.

Adrienne Bailon admits that L.A. Reid signs artists without even knowing if they can SING!

One of Def Jams latest signings Adrienne Bailon has opened up to Honey Magazine about her upcoming debut solo album and deal with Def Jam, admitting that label head L.A. Reid signed her without a proper audition.

She then went on to talk about a mix-up that happened when she finally got into the studio, revealing that she was given the wrong tracks to record because the label assumed she couldn't sing.
"It's crazy because with everything I've done in the past people will doubt 'can she sing?'" reveals Adrienne "And even A&R people that were working at the label went into the studio and picked songs that they thought would fit me vocally, and then I got in there and they were like 'Wait a second...' and they went back to L.A. and said 'You didn't tell us she could sing' and he said 'I didn't really care if she could or not, I thought she was a star.'"

"That was huge to me" continued Bailon "because if you really think about it it's not the singing business, it's the entertainment business." The former Cheetah Girl then revealed that her album will drop in the fall, with the lead single being released in the Summer. She will also have her own reality show with MTV which will follow her as she records her own album and breaks out from her Disney child star persona into a woman.
