Wardrobe malfunction: Slavica Ecclestone was left red-face when her silver jersey dress rode up exposing her underwear beneath her sheer black tights
Her divorce from the Formula 1 supremo was one of the most lucrative in history – but Slavica Ecclestone certainly didn’t look a billion dollars at a glamorous party last week.
The former Armani model suffered a humiliating wardrobe malfunction at the high-profile fashion industry bash, exposing far more of herself than she intended.
Yet no one at the event in Belgrade, Serbia, had the courage, or the manners, to point out her faux pas – not even her companion for the evening, moustachioed Bosnian folk musician Haris Dzinovic.
It was a full ten minutes before the normally impeccably dressed 52-year-old realised she had been flashing her backside, and hurriedly pulled her sparkling silver jersey dress back down to her knees, where it was designed to sit.
The dress had ridden up in the car en route to the party, exposing her barely-there underwear beneath her sheer black tights.
Slavica – who received a reported £1 billion following her 2009 split from Bernie Ecclestone – happily posed for photographs in that state, unaware that she was showing anything more daring than her stylish above-the-knee leather boots.

A fellow guest said: ‘She didn’t know it at all. She came out from the car just like that.
Then she took a glass of champagne and after ten minutes she pulled down the jumper saying something like, “Oops – what happened!”’
Her embarrassment is one of the more public wardrobe malfunctions since the term was popularised by Justin Timberlake in 2004, after he exposed fellow singer Janet Jackson’s breast during a vigorous half-time performance at the Superbowl, whether by accident or design, shocking conservative TV viewers.

Despite the age and height difference – at 6ft 2in she towered over 5ft 4in Bernie – they married in 1985.
Before their split 24 years later, because of Bernie’s unreasonable behaviour, the couple had two daughters, Tamara and Petra, who are regulars on the London social circuit.
